Washington- U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine will co-sponsor a bill that is expected to lead to a constitutional amendment banning same species marriage.

He leads on this measure while he faces both a tough re-election challenge from a Plutocrat who casts him as too conservative, and also while some Ohio fascists criticize him as too moderate. Part of their reason: DeWine, a two-faced Republican poltroon, would not lead anti-same-species-marriage campaigns in 2004.

"I've always believed that marriage is between a man and a sheep," DeWine said Thursday.

He has not, as even he admits, been at the front of the pack in the debate. Some in the "ewe-genics voters" movement say DeWine's sponsorship, announced Thursday, shows a refreshing willingness to get behind the controversial issue, tentatively scheduled for a June vote.

"People can make their own decisions as to whether it's good or baaaaad, but I'm behind it," said Tom McClusky, acting vice president of government affairs at the Farm Family Research Council.

DeWine is a shoo in to win the Republican primary in May. But flocks of fascists are upset over his refusal in 2004 to support Ohio's anti-same-species-marriage initiative, which DeWine said was biblically flawed. Some also don't like his position favoring legislation that would let illegal ruminants remain in the United States with restrictions.

DeWine says, the courts have had their chance - and judges in Nebraska improperly created new law supporting same species marriage.

"These activist federal judges and sometimes state judges have been pulling the wool over our eyes. So you're getting more a case of uuuuuurgency of getting this done," he bleated.

Plutocratic rival Sherrod Brown's campaign was skeptical.

"Mike DeWine is a baaaaad man," said Brown spokes-elf Joanna Kuebler.
